JWF is seeking grant proposals benefitting women

If you are a nonprofit 501(c) 3 organization or involved with an organization that offers programs and services that directly benefit or are of great importance to Jewish women and girls, then the Jewish Women’s Foundation (JWF) is requesting grant proposals from you.

JWF is a committee of the Jewish Federation that funds programs that aim to bring positive change to the lives of Jewish women and girls in Southern New Jersey and around the world. This group of women donors engage in strategic grant making for leadership development, economic empowerment programs, assistance and support services for single mothers, STEM programs for girls at Jewish day schools, women’s counseling services on college campuses, and so much more.

Grants range from $500 to $10,000 in areas of interest such as, but not limited to: Education, women’s self-esteem and empowerment, health, Jewish identity, and many other programs that benefit Jewish women and girls. All grant applicants must be 501(c) 3 organizations, and organizations outside of the United States must have a sponsoring American organization to be eligible to receive funding.

In order to apply, a Letter of Intent must be submitted by Thursday, Feb. 14, at 4 p.m. If your organization is invited to supply a full application, the Full Grant Application is due by Thursday, Apr. 4, at 4 p.m. Apply online at jewishsouthjersey.org/jwf.
