Enjoy a Funday for the Kids November 18

The Bank of America Festival of Arts, Books and Culture of the Katz JCC will present a Funday for the Kids!

On Sunday, Nov. 18, from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., enjoy an interactive morning with PJ Library and PJ Library author Rabbi Leah Berkowitz! The event will be held at the Katz Jewish Community Center, 1301 Springdale Road, Cherry Hill, NJ 08003. This event is great for children ages 3-8.

There will be an engaging story time featuring “The World Needs Beautiful Things” by Rabbi Berkowitz. The story tells of Young Bezalel, who is different from the other Israelite slaves in Egypt. He loves to collect stones, bugs, bits of string—these all seem beautiful to him. He keeps everything in his Beautiful Things Box and takes it with him everywhere. As the Israelites wander in the desert, G-d asks them to build a very special house—and Bezalel may be the only one who can create something beautiful enough to honor G-d.

Afterwards, make your own Beautiful Things Box to take home!

This event is FREE and open to the community. Sponsored by Safety Bus, in partnership with PJ Library of Southern NJ and The ARTery Studio, Medford.
